In This Section Grow, Learn, Discover, make Friends and have FUN! Camp Emerson is a nurturing place where your child can grow, learn, discover, make friends and have fun. With over 40 activities, every day at Camp Emerson is exciting. To us, camp is about bringing out the best in each child in a safe and supportive environment. We started Camp Emerson in 1968 with this objective, and it still holds today. We feel successful as Directors when a child goes home with new friends, great memories and a stronger sense of self. To accomplish this, we work closely with you as parents to understand your child, his/her interests, personality, habits, dreams, etc. The more you can tell us, the more we can help your child to have a great camp experience. The following pages are helpful in introducing you to Camp Emerson. However, what they cannot do fully is convey the personal warmth and professionalism that you would get when you talk to us.
