At Camp Emerson, campers design their own schedules every 2 weeks. You’ll pick 5 activities from the list below to create your unique day. In addition, every group swims daily in the heated pool. We offer over 40 activities in five areas: studio arts, performing arts, athletics, Wilderness and “Step Beyond”.
Our popular Step Beyond program is a collection of camper-driven, creative activities spanning the sciences, technology and arts. These are fast-paced, hands-on programs for kids who want intellectual stimulation and challenge.
Skilled instructors with experience teaching children are prepared for your arrival. If you are new to an activity, they’ll take you from the beginning. Already good at something, they’ll hone your skills to your next level and beyond. The staff knows how to make the activities both fun (after all it is your summer vacation) but also send you home with new skills and techniques.
