I’m Bec Farley and I’m thrilled to be back at Plunkett Lake this summer. My love for water sports started at age 11 when my Dad brought home a shiny new boat. We spent every holiday from then on camping and being out on the boat. I got my boat license at age 12 and started towing waterskiiers at 16.

Being the eldest of 5, I was always teaching my siblings and friends how to water-ski, kneeboard and wakeboard. Summer time is my favorite time of year hence why I have returned to camp so many times and skipped the Australian winter. This is my 7th summer at Camp Emerson and my 3rd as Plunkett Director.

If this is your first year at Camp Emerson, you must check out the waterskiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, tubing and sailing at Lake Plunkett! This is what overnight summer camp is all about! To me, it the best place to be at camp but then again, I’m just a tiny bit biased. I'm excited to say we are getting two new Malibu ski boats. We may need a little help naming them so send me your ideas. We are also looking at making tubing a separate class at Camp Emerson for those of you who just want the fun of tubing.  Sailing is of course back in action too, with some exciting new classes planned to meet everyone's skill levels.

I hope to see you all at Plunkett Lake this summer!
